Simul Support ExchangeCategory: Sky and LightingBlack Artifacts – 4.2a + UE4.24.3

Hi,

Since updating to 4.2a yesterday I’ve suddenly had black artifacts happening all over my character and some static meshes when in play.  

Removing Truesky completely eliminates the issue. Strangely, there are no issues when in the editor – just happens during play.

Has anyone else encountered this or know what might be happening here?

Hi, im not aware of this issue. Is there anything specific about those sections of the mesh/character? We use Unreal’s drectional light so there should be no difference really. Possibly try removing the trueSKYLight to see if that resolves the issue, or un-hook the directional light from trueSKY and set the value manually to test.Cheers,
