Simul Support ExchangeCategory: CloudsHelp Material with Opacity rendering on top of clouds (Unreal Engine)
stuart whitlock asked 4 years ago

Hi  my scene is traveling above the clouds and  i have a simple material, (rainbow) (translucent) with opacity (alpha) but it renders on top of the clouds. Is there a fix, I’m very new to truesky.
I tried masked and using the DitherTemporalAA but its not what im looking for. Any help or pointers would be great.
Thanks
Stu

Hi Stu,
If your object is using a transparent material you may have integrated the trueSKY transparency.
Alternatively, trueSKY can generate its own rainbows with controls for positioning if you desire. Documentation can be found here – https://docs.simul.co/tutorials/rainbows/ and I can answer any questions you have for it.
Thanks
Chris
