Hi,
your skies look really great, however I was wondering if it is possible to not only load a custom cloud map texture and animate via manually shifting it, but basically loading a slightly different cloud map texture per key frame, and interpolate between these, to have individual clouds moving in different directions and growing/shrinking over time like real clouds?
If so, are there ways to accomplish this via code/blueprint, like loading a video clip or hundreds of still images as batch? What would be best places to start looking at?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Hi,
Thank you for your question.
At the moment texture animation for cloud map texture is not available.
TrueSKY does allow you to position and rotate (hold Ctrl +Alt) any Cloud Keyframe on the globe overtime via the Cloud Window and the cloud map texture will move with the keyframe.
I will discuss this request with my colleague for future releases.
Sorry, I can’t offer more help.
Best Wishes,
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply. I’d be happy to hear from you in case your team decides to implement a feature like this in a future release.
Have a great day!
